Blitz Attack Workbook 2 - Part I - (Hardcopy)
Blitz Attack: The Andrea Hines Story Part I Workbook Training and Discussion Guide for Educators, Administrators, and School Counselors (Using an Ecological Approach in Working with At-Risk Students with Learning Disabilities). Compiled by Kristie Lanktree, M.A., Spec. Ed. and Maureen Lanktree, LMFT. Edited by Constance L. Jackson, MPH and Michele S. Patterson. Introduction by La Faune Gordon, Ph.D., Lic. Clinical Psychologist. This 54 page workbook is for anyone who works with students at-risk for anti-social or delinquent behavior that can lead to dramatically negative personal and social actions, much similar to Adan and some of the students in the film. Academic failure is the most consistent indicator of a student’s propensity to quit school. In 2007, University of Minnesota sociologists found that the high school dropout rate in the US is considerably higher than most people realize, with one in four students not graduating. It is important to be aware of who is at-risk, what signs to look for, and how to implement interventions within the classroom or at the school to help and support them.
